Belinda Stronach announed earlier today that she is defecting to the Liberals and from this day forth she be referred to as Hollywood Belinda Stronach. Peter MacKay was not available for comment as he was attempting to put Jack Layton in the scorpion deathlock. Layton’s flock looked on in bewilderment and provided little to no help.

After the fact, Layton had this to say, “Quote the Layton, nevermore.”

Prime Minister Paul Martin read from a prepared statement at this mornings new conference, “Is it just me? Or do I look sexier than usual?”

Stephen Harper looked shaken, but had this to say, “That’s not a bad thing, it’s a good thing. BANG!”
