Lame

I believe I was first introduced to Ozymandias’s Blog by N’Gai Croal’s blog over at Newsweek. I was intrigued, but really I should have just stayed away. Ozymandias recently blogged about the PS3 online experience (1, 2). I actually typed up a comment to his first blog before I thought better of it and abandoned my submission. I wasn’t as intelligent the second time around.

Ozymandias was commenting on a series of posts over at InnerBits. InnerBits seems to be treading very close to the NDA line.

I made a comment on Ozymandias’s blog that was subsequently quoted by Simon Carless over at GameSetWatch.

There are many debates that just don’t seem to die: Emacs vs. vi, Max vs. Maya vs. XSI, Windows vs. Mac vs. Linux, Anne Coulter vs. Al Franken, fork vs. spoon, XBox 360 vs. PS3. The one thing that they all have in common is that they are pretty lame.

It seems I’ve dragged myself into the lame 360 vs. PS3 debate. Time to drag myself out.

1) This debate is lame. Both systems are capable. Both systems have pros and cons.
2) Regardless of the legal implications, breaking NDA is lame. If you are gonna make a promise, keep that promise. Period.
