While I’m on the Topic of Marketing
I spoke about Seth Godin in my last post, so I guess I should also talk about Guy Kawasaki. His blog, titled How to Change the World, is definitely worth checking out too.
Hmm, my blog needs a cool title too.
The last Guy Kawasaki book that I read was The Art of the Start. It is a fantastic book. My enthusiasm just can’t match the enthusiasm of Guy’s writing. The book is sub-titled, The Time-Tested, Battle-Hardened Guide for Anyone Starting Anything.
That’s a fairly grandiose statement to make. There is merit to that statement though. The first reason Guy gives for starting anything is to Make Meaning. If what you are doing at this particular moment is not meaningful, chances are slim-to-none that you will be successful at it.
This video only covers Chapter 1 of The Art of the Start. There are 10 more chapters of gold.
