Who Am I?

Hi. I am Parveen Kaler. I live in beautiful Vancouver, BC.

I was originally born in Quesnel, BC and moved to Vancouver to attend Simon Fraser University. I completed a Bachelors of Science in Computing Science from SFU. I have been living here in Vancouver for more than a decade now.

What Do I Do?

I am the CEO and Founder of Smartful Studios.  Smartful Studios is focused on mobile strategy and iPhone software development.  The company was founded in January of 2008.

How About Before That?

Previously, I was employed by Slant Six Games.  Slant Six Games is a 2nd-party studio that is currently working on SOCOM series of games for the Sony PSP and PS3. “2nd-party studio” is fancy game-developer speak that means that they are an independent development studio that develops titles exclusively for Sony. It was a pretty sweet gig.

In the past, I worked at Relic Entertainment. I worked on Company of Heroes for the PC and The Outfit for the XBox 360.
